HOW TO USE THE ICE BATHS
Training and recovery all in one visit to the gym! Ice Baths are available to all members of Chocolate Box Training.
Simply rinse off in the shower before entering the ice baths and then off you go. We recommend 4 rounds of 2 minutes cold, 2 minutes hot.
WHY ICE BATH?
Ice baths and cold water immersion therapy has been around for many years and what was once regarded for only the most elite of athletes, is now easily accessible and popular for all.
Reduce oedema; Decrease the perception of pain associated with muscular soreness; Decrease the perception of fatigue; Alter localised blood flow; Alter localised tissue and core temperature; Alter heart rate; Reduce muscle spasms; Reduce tissue inflammation and Reduce muscle damage.
