We understand that some gyms can often feel intimidating, but believe everyone should feel confident and safe on their health & fitness journey. This is why we created the Starter Gym Program!
It is a program designed for those who are new to the gym or want to return to their training, but need a refresher on technique and movement.
It enables individuals to confidently build a foundation 3 times a week over a 4 week period. These sessions are capped at 10 people per session allowing the trainer to dedicate valuable one-on-one time, correcting proper techniques and improving movement patterns often used in Group and Strength & Conditioning classes.
What is the purpose of this program?
Our Starter Program is designed to teach correct movement patterns, build solid foundations and improve confidence. We want to ensure people are ready to tackle strength and conditioning training the right way so they can maximise the holistic benefits to training.
How is this program different to the Strength & Conditioning program at the gym?
We scale it right back as you work closely with a Trainer in groups of no more than 10 members. We break the movement down and perfect it before moving on. In a small group setting, you will receive real-time feedback and guidance from your Trainer to ensure you are building those foundations that are so important to movement.
Can anyone do this program?
This program is perfect for those people who haven't trained in a gym before or those who are returning to training after time off. If you are someone who is not confident doing resistance training or who just has no idea where to start. This is for you.
What if I have never been to a gym before?
This program was made for you!
I can't make all 3 sessions each week, is that ok?
No problems, we understand life is busy but we do encourage you to attend a minimum of 2 sessions each week. Where possible, 3 sessions is what you should be aiming for as you will get the most out of the program.
What is an example of a Starter Gym Program session?
We start with a warm up focusing on raising the heart rate and preparing the body for movement through a series of range of motion exercises. We will then move into the Strength component where we will be working on specific movements (e.g Lunges) before finishing the session with a 10-15 min conditioning piece using cardio machines and body weight exercises.
What happens at the end of the 4 weeks?
Continue your awesome training routine with us in our main Group sessions plus compliment your training with some Pilates, Yoga or Barre. All available to you as an Unlimited Chocolate Box Training member.
How much does the program cost and are there any on-going costs?

What if I am already a gym member on an existing plan, can I switch?
Yes, you sure can. You will need to purchase the starter pack for $200 for access to the starter program. Simply fill out the form below and a member of the team will be able to help. Please note that you will not be able to book on the app until you have the Starter Program membership.
Can I do the Starter Program but still do other classes at the gym or Studio Ellipsis?
Sure! Continue to enjoy your SE classes whilst paying for your membership but know that access to the starter program is an additional outright cost.
Is there a creche or childminding available?
Bring the prams or kids along and we will look after you :)
