Everest Base Camp Marathon - Travel Conditions 

I agree to the tour conditions stipulated below: 

(a) You acknowledge there is a non refundable deposit of $3,500 AUD. 

(b) The package can be transferable to another person not already attending.

(c) You take responsibility for a minimum of 6 months validity on your passport.

(d) You acknowledge that any footage filmed and photographed by Chocolate Box Films is property of Chocolate Box Films. Individuals are to tag Chocolate Box Films and Chocolate Box Training on all social media avenues when using the media. 

(e) Acknowledge the hardships, difficulties and potential dangers of trekking to Base Camp, and accept these conditions.

(f) Agree to commit and implement a suitable training and fitness program specific to requirements necessary for trekking Everest Base Camp and completing the Half or Full Marathon event. The Trekker will take all reasonable avenues to obtain specific training advice regarding the fitness requirements to successfully complete the trek.

(g) Agree to ensure all pre trek paperwork is returned to Chocolate Box Training within the time frame requested in the pre trek documentation requests sent to you.

(h) Acknowledge that Chocolate Box Travel cannot accept responsibility for accident, injury, disappointment, delay or irregularity in flight, accommodation, transportation and other services provided on your trip. Chocolate Box Training reserves the right to vary the trek itinerary/schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

(i) You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You will be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present dangers. You acknowledge that you may experience physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks involved in such travel.

(j) You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to visit your GP or other health professionals to be cleared for your trek/marathon. If you have any medical conditions or history (yourself and family) of conditions, it is your obligation to provide this information to Chocolate Box Training.

(k) The destinations you're travelling to may have restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Failure to comply with COVID-19 requirements may result in you being unable to use the travel products purchased and experience disruption to your travel plans and additional costs.

(l) There are different payment options which I adhere to;

1. Upfront payment in AUD.
2. Non refundable deposit of $3,550 AUD and scheduled payments following with an invoice sent to you within 24hrs of purchasing.  

(m) You understand booking after 15th February 2025 may incur additional fees based on flight costs and administration fees.

(n) If you are booking and/or upgrading without a travel buddy & we are not able to introduce you to someone, you will be provided with options to modify your booking to either solo or alternative twin share accommodation. 

Kokoda Trek 2024 - Travel Conditions 

*By registering you acknowledge the following & agree to the tour conditions stipulated below: 

(a) You acknowledge there is a non refundable deposit of $3,500 AUD.

(c) You take responsibility for a minimum of 6 months validity on your passport.

(d) You acknowledge that any footage filmed and photographed by Chocolate Box Films is property of Chocolate Box Films. Individuals are to tag Chocolate Box Films and Chocolate Box Training on all social media avenues when using the media.

(e) Acknowledge the hardships, difficulties and potential dangers of trekking across the Kokoda Track, and accept these conditions.

(f) You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You will be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present dangers. You acknowledge that you may experience physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks involved in such travel.

(g) Agree to undertake a full medical check up prior to undergoing any exercise or training program in preparation for trekking the Kokoda Track. It is your responsibility to receive the required medical clearance from a GP or other health professional. 

(h) Agree to commit and implement a suitable training and fitness program specific to requirements necessary for trekking the Kokoda Trek. The Trekker will take all reasonable avenues to obtain specific training advice regarding the fitness requirements to successfully complete the trek across the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea ('PNG').

(i) Agree to ensure all pre trek paperwork including Doctor's Clearance Letter, Assumption of Risk, Trekker information and Travel Insurance is returned to Kokoda Spirit within the time frame requested by Kokoda Spirit in the pre trek documentation requests sent to you.

(j) Acknowledge that PNG has been referred to as "the land of the unexpected". It is a developing nation and Kokoda Spirit Pty Ltd and Chocolate Box Travel cannot accept responsibility for accident, loss, injury, disappointment, and delay or irregularity in flight, accommodation, transportation and other services provided on your trip. Kokoda Spirit reserves the right to vary the trek itinerary/schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

(k) The destinations you're travelling to may have restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Failure to comply with COVID-19 requirements may result in you being unable to use the travel products purchased and experience disruption to your travel plans and additional costs.

2. Non refundable deposit of $3,500 AUD and a scheduled payment of $3,490 AUD due 27th February 2024 and invoiced to you within 24 hours of purchasing. 

(m) You understand booking after 15th February 2024 may incur additional fees based on flight costs and administration fees.

(n) If you are booking and/or upgrading without a travel buddy & we are not able to introduce you to someone, you will be provided with options to modify your booking to either solo or alternative twin share accommodation. 

Phuket Fitness Escape 2024 - Travel Conditions 

I agree to the tour conditions stipulated below: 

(a) You acknowledge there is a non refundable deposit of $750 AUD. 

(b) The package can be transferable to another person not already attending.

(c) You take responsibility for 6 months validity on your passport.

(d) You take responsibility to purchase travel insurance and flights accordingly. This means if scooter hire is not on your travel insurance, you don't hire or go on a scooter.

(d) You acknowledge that any footage filmed and photographed by Chocolate Box Films is property of Chocolate Box Films. Individuals are to tag Chocolate Box Films and Chocolate Box Training on all social media avenues when using the media.

(e) You are fit and able to take part in fitness sessions ranging from Strength & Conditioning, Muay Thai, Running and more. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit and able to take part in such activities if you choose to do so.   

(f) You are a confident swimmer and are able to take part in water activities including but not limited to swimming and surfing. If you choose to take part in such activities, you do so at your own risk. 

(g) Agree to ensure all pre trip paperwork is returned to Chocolate Box Training within the time frame requested in the pre trip documentation requests sent to you.

(h) Acknowledge that Chocolate Box Travel cannot accept responsibility for accident, injury, disappointment, delay or irregularity in flight, accommodation, transportation and other services provided on your trip. Chocolate Box Training reserves the right to vary the trip itinerary/schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

(i) You acknowledge that the nature of this trip is adventurous and challenging. Participation involves a degree of risk, as with any fitness activity. You acknowledge that you could be challenged physically and mentally through different fitness activities and you agree that your decision to participate is made in consideration of this knowledge. 

(j) The destinations you're travelling to may have restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Failure to comply with COVID-19 requirements may result in you being unable to use the travel products purchased and experience disruption to your travel plans and additional costs.

1. Upfront payment of $2,200 AUD.
2. Non refundable deposit of $750 AUD and a scheduled payment of $1450 AUD due May 27th and invoiced to you within 24 hours of purchasing.  

(l) You understand booking after 15th February 2024 may incur additional fees based on booking and administration fees.

(n) If you are booking and/or upgrading without a travel buddy & we are not able to introduce you to someone, you will be provided with options to modify your booking to either solo or alternative twin share accommodation.
