Everest Base Camp Marathon - Travel Conditions
I agree to the tour conditions stipulated below:
Conditions
By registering you acknowledge the following:
(a) You acknowledge there is a non refundable deposit of $3,500 AUD.
(b) The package can be transferable to another person not already attending.
(c) You take responsibility for 6 months validity on your passport.
(d) You acknowledge that any footage filmed and photographed by Charlie Bucket & Co is property of Charlie Bucket & Co. Individuals are to tag Charlie Bucket Projects, Charlie Bucket & Co and Chocolate Box Training on all social media avenues when using the media.
(e) Acknowledge the hardships, difficulties and potential dangers of trekking to Base Camp, and accept these conditions.
(f) Agree to commit and implement a suitable training and fitness program specific to requirements necessary for trekking Everest Base Camp. The Trekker will take all reasonable avenues to obtain specific training advice regarding the fitness requirements to successfully complete the trek.
(g) Agree to ensure all pre trek paper work is returned to Chocolate Box Training within the time frame requested in the pre trek documentation requests sent to you.
(h) Acknowledge that Chocolate Box Travel cannot accept responsibility for accident, injury, disappointment, and delay or irregularity in flight, accommodation, transportation and other services provided on your trip. Chocolate Box Training reserves the right to vary the trek itinerary/schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
(i) You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You will be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present dangers and physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks involved in such travel.
(j) You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to visit your GP or other health professionals to be cleared for your trek/marathon. If you have any medical conditions or history (yourself and family) of conditions, it is your obligation to provide this information to Chocolate Box Training.
(k) The destinations you're travelling to may have restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Failure to comply with COVID-19 requirements may result in you being unable to use the travel products purchased and experience disruption to your travel plans and additional costs.
(l) There are different payment options which I adhere to;
- Upfront payment of $9,590 AUD.
- Non refundable deposit of $3,550 AUD and a scheduled payment of $3,090 AUD due 27th Feb, final payment of $3,000 due 27th March 2023 and invoiced to you within 24hrs of purchasing.
(m) You understand booking after 15th Feb 2023 may incur additional fees based on flight costs and administration fees.
Kokoda Trek 2023 - Travel Conditions
*By registering you acknowledge the following & agree to the tour conditions stipulated below:
(a) You acknowledge there is a non refundable deposit of $3,500 AUD.
(b) The package can be transferable to another person not already attending.
(c) You take responsibility for 6 months validity on your passport.
(d) You acknowledge that any footage filmed and photographed by Charlie Bucket & Co is property of Charlie Bucket & Co. Individuals are to tag Charlie Bucket Projects, Charlie Bucket & Co and Chocolate Box Training on all social media avenues when using the media.
(e) You are fit and cleared by your doctor to attend, it is your responsibility.
(f) Acknowledge the hardships, difficulties and potential dangers of trekking across the Kokoda Track, and accept these conditions.
(g) Agree to undertake a full medical check up prior to undergoing any exercise or training program in preparation for trekking the Kokoda Track.
(h) Agree to commit and implement a suitable training and fitness program specific to requirements necessary for trekking the Kokoda Trek. The Trekker will take all reasonable avenues to obtain specific training advice regarding the fitness requirements to successfully complete the trek across the Kokoda Track in PNG.
(i) Agree to ensure all pre trek paperwork including Doctor's Clearance Letter, Assumption of Risk, Trekker information and Travel Insurance is returned to Kokoda Spirit within the time frame requested by Kokoda Spirit in the pre trek documentation requests sent to you.
(j) Acknowledge that PNG has been referred to as "the land of the unexpected". It is a developing nation and Kokoda Spirit Pty Ltd and Chocolate Box Travel cannot accept responsibility for accident, loss, injury, disappointment, and delay or irregularity in flight, accommodation, transportation and other services provided on your trip. Kokoda Spirit reserves the right to vary the trek itinerary/schedule in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

(g) Agree to ensure all pre trek paper work is returned to Chocolate Box Training within the time frame requested in the pre trek documentation requests sent to you.
